Schmincke Horadam Aquarell watercolors are made in Germany by a family owned business, now in its fourth generation. A feature of this brand of watercolor is that dried color can be re-wetted for further use.

Over the years, Winsor & Newton has reformulated their colors in attempt to improve their watercolor line as a result, some past treasures to Chinese brush painting have been discontinued or renamed. Use the following information to use or mix to recreate the colors of the past.
